Chapter Forty One
In which everything was outside his comfort zone.

Kye groaned in annoyance upon everything that was happening before his eyes.
Everything wasn't going according to his plan and it bothered him, a lot. The only thing that was on the schedule was getting Page distracted and knowing his friends—he wasn't sure how long that'll last. Instead of calming his nerves about what he was supposed to do, Kye found himself stressing about every mistake that was knocking on his door.
"I specifically instructed to have peonies," he softly said to the delivery man before him.
The worker bowed his head, feeling apologetic to what was happening, "I'm so sorry, sir. The one addressed to the company was carnations. I'm terribly sorry."
