Just as Phil was about to mark her, Kara shivers as she remembered the witch's warning that in order to escape the fate coveted by the Alpha, she must destroy her mate. But she wanted to break the curse with Phil by her side. Feeling her shiver Phil stop and looked into her eyes, she was afraid and hesitated thinking that she would kill Phil since the curse states that her mate would be used as a sacrifice to undo the curse. If he marked her now, will she not be forced to kill him since the curse is still undone?
