CELINA’S POV

Stepping out of the elevator into the bright office that fills with natural light, the murmurs of the employees rattle through the space-- that is until I'm noticed. "Oh my word, she's back." I hear someone say, and the entire office erupts in murmured voices of secrets and hushes. "I can't believe she came here again." Another says. "Truly shameless." Another snorts, "She physically assaulted someone and got away with it." My cheeks burn-- not with embarrassment, but anger. "And to think she was with Sean for three years." Someone gasps at that as they talk about me like I'm not here, "Really? Poor Sean." I refrain from letting my eyes bulge out of their sockets.
