Delilah tried to open her eyes , but the sun shining through her curtains was too bright so her eyes flickered shut again before she slowly opened them , giving her eyes time to adjust , but no matter how her eyes adjusted , there was a banging headache that pounded her head . She tried to pull the covers off of her body , but something heavy weighed the blanket down around her waist and she looked down , seeing his hand and she froze .
