Olive isn't here today. She usually comes around this time and stays till the night. Brent was supposed to arrive yesterday so it makes sense why she wasn't here. But today she promised she would come and yet she is not here.
Just when I am thinking of her, someone rings the doorbell. I am startled for a second because Olive has a spare key. She walks in instead of ringing the doorbell. Might be the noisy new neighbors who keep on treating me like I am an old lady with a cat in my house and potion brewing in the basement.
