Samika's POV
I feel so exhausted. As if I have slept for an eternity. I know that I did sleep because I feel my back going numb. I tried moving but even after great efforts, I still couldn't move a muscle.
So I gave up and tried to open my eyes instead. But I failed at that too. I don't know what the heck is happening. I don't remember how I fell asleep. I don't know why I can't move at least one part of my body. But here I am, struggling to open an eye and blink.
What's happening?

I woke up once again. I don't remember when was the last time I fell asleep. I am awake but my eyes are still closed. And there is a burning sensation behind my eyelids as if someone set my eyeballs on fire.
There is a sound of constant machine beeps. They sound familiar yet odd somehow. But
