Samika's POV
I shift back and Melissa is quick enough to give me some clothes as she shielded me. Thankfully I am also using Daniel's dead body as another shield as I quickly put on a tank top and a pair of shorts.
I hear the spirit again. And today is the last day of the six months I was given to think and act accordingly. It's either I kill Devon or I kill myself to end the bargain right here and right now.
I look up to find Aphrodite reappearing again. At this point the tears in my eyes wouldn't stop as they just kept flowing. I held her and cried out loud that caught everyone's attention. Now that I connected the dots, and my time is ticking with the spirit, I guess I can finally confront the truth.
"I know who you are," I whisper and she pulls away to look at me in confusion.
