Devon's POV
I was sitting in one of the chairs one second, and the next second I was already grabbing the doctor beside me by his throat. And the next second, I have him pinned to the wall and lift him up in the air, making him struggle for breathing.
I hear gasps and cries of horror in the background and I look at each and every one of them. Who are they to say that my mate will not walk again? In this lifetime? I will break their bones and feed their flesh to the vultures.
"Alpha! Mercy, please" I hear one of the doctors again as she kneels before me.
I hear the door open and groan when the familiar scent hits me before a fist lands on my face.
"Cassie! Stay out of this" I growl at her and she growls back at me. I want to push her aside but the life inside her is not letting me
