"How do they have Nyle?" I ask Devon and even he looks confused to be honest.
Nyle was my first boyfriend, and he was also the one who lost so much. A part of me will always feel bad for him. He was ready to get shunned by the pack for me. There were times he got beaten up by my father.
Also, back then I didn't understand how my father was able to beat up a werewolf. It's only later I understood that he did it with ease because he himself is a werewolf too.
Of everyone around me, my mom, Olive and Matt are the only ones who are absolutely human and have no suppressed werewolf gene in them. And I am ready to protect them like that.
