I sighed, leaning against the closed bedroom door. "Holy s**t," I gasped, grabbing my heaving chest. "Did that just happen?"
I pushed off the door and entered the bathroom, still mumbling to myself. I would say I was talking to my wolf, but she was blissfully sleeping in my mind, uncaring of the emotional breakdown I was clearly having.
I pursed my lips, staring at the bathtub full of lukewarm water now. I exhaled, pulling the plug to let some of the water out to make room for hot water.
"f**k," I growled, sitting on the edge of the tub. I rested my head in my hands. "Not even two days here, and I have already slept with my boss."
A goddamn alpha.
"Will you wake up and help me?" I exclaimed, shutting off the water.
Topaz didn't stir, and that just irritated me more. S
