Third Person When Madison entered the kitchen the following morning, she was surprised to find Alpha Barrett. “Good morning,” she said, stopping in her tracks. Part of her duties was to make breakfast, but she didn’t expect the alpha to supervise. “There’s coffee,” he told her without looking up from his phone. He sat at the counter sipping a mug. “Thanks.” Her voice was chipper even though nerves twisted her gut. Madison poured herself a coffee and felt calmer after the first sip. “How was your dinner meeting?” She asked, pulling ingredients out of the fridge. When the alpha didn’t answer, she glanced around the door. He was studying her. “I’m sorry,” she stammered, her nerves jolted back to life. “It’s none of my business,” she quickly said before turning her attention to the breakf
