The cops launched a manhunt, but none had found a clue to Anya’s whereabouts, it has been two days since the manhunt began and each passing day made things more and more complicated. There was no ransom call or a blackmail call, so the cops ruled out kidnapping for benefit.
“Did she have any enemies?” the cop named Paul asked keeping his back to John and David, they were all in Anya’s apartment. Paul was looking at the bare house, there weren’t any photographs whatsoever in the house and he found that strange.
“No” came John’s answer.
“Yes,” this was from David.
