Sara’s POV
“Think he’s lost his mind?” Edna asks.
Could be.
Last time, he and Laura ganged up against me. I would think he would applaud her initiative to teach me a lesson.
“I never should have sent you to North Academy,” he says, the anger gone from his voice, “you never would have met them.”
I didn’t think I would be sitting down and having a conversation with him. But right now, I don’t know what to expect. Though I have a feeling if I anger him, things will quickly go south like last night.
“Them?” I question. Maybe if I play along, he’ll reveal what he has in store for me.
