The dinner came soon, and all of them sat back to their places. Alastair sat next to her again, but this time Grace didn’t leave her gaze on him. She felt like she had nothing left, but accepting the fact she was too late. After dinner, the celebration continued, and Alastair went back to Marge. They continued dancing. Alastair did not miss a dance, and if another she-wolf dared to go there to ask him for a dance, he refused. He only danced with Marge, which made Grace suspect there was more between them than simple friendship.
