Alastair felt Farlan growling inside him. He did not wonder. His wolf never liked her.
“Marge?” He didn’t know what to say. “Nice to see you back.”
Marge smiled.
“Nice to see you, Alpha.” She laughed, then she glanced at Grace. “I’m guessing this time you aren’t free for a dance.”
Alastair smiled, lowered his head for a moment, then he looked back at Marge.
“No, I have to take this to my Luna.” And he glanced at the plate.
Marge’s face remained motionless.
“Well, so many things changed in that short time I was away.”
