Maria opened her eyes groggily. They felt so heavy that she just wanted to close them and drift back into wonderland but she tried her best to keep them open. She didn’t know what kind of drug they injected her with but it sure was effective.
She has been drifting in and out of sleep for god knows how long. This time, she forced herself to resist it then tried to stand up only to find that her hands and leg were chained to the bed.
