About one year later
Artemis POV
I stand in front of the huge mirror in the dressing room, staring at my beautiful gown. It’s white with accents of blue all along the skirt. It has a plunging neckline and is slightly open-backed.
It’s my dream gown.
A dream gown, on a dream day.
It’s been about a year since our engagement, and it’s February 26th. We both pushed to expedite the wedding, but it didn’t end up.
A whole year of peace is what we’ve had. We returned to NYC right after Will learned to teleport efficiently. I had the hackers on my pay role set everything up so that my name was Artemis again, but everything else was the same. I’m still 22 on legal documents, with my birthday being on February 28th.
