Without hesitation, Alejandro stripped off his jacket and dove into the pool. The cold water enveloped him as he swam down to Gabriella's limp form. He wrapped his arm around her waist and kicked upwards, propelling them both towards the surface.
Breaking the water's surface, Alejandro gasped for air, holding Gabriella close. He swam to the edge of the pool and lifted her out, laying her on the cold tiles. He checked for signs of breathing, his hands shaking as he prepared to administer CPR.
