The tension in the air was thick as Bella stood in the parking lot, surrounded by the team of security guards. Her pulse raced as her desperate gaze scanned the crowd for another glimpse of the woman she was sure was her birth mother. “Please, let me go!” Bella pleaded, trying to push past the guards. Her voice was high with urgency, her movements frantic. “I need to find her!” But the guards were unmoving, their stances firm as they blocked her path. “Luna Bella, this is a security concern,” the lead guard said evenly, though his tone carried the authority of someone who would not be swayed. “We cannot allow you to enter an uncontrolled crowd. Your safety, and your pup’s safety, are our top priorities.” Bella’s frustration boiled over. “You don’t understand! She’s here! I saw her!”
