Somewhere in the continent, there was an Oldman who's looking at his lifeless daughter, his daughter has been in a coma for more than decades, and still, there's no progress that they can see on her, every doctor that he consulted told him to give up but that's easy for them to say because they are not on his shoes.
He would rather know that what happened to his daughter is an accident than knowing that she is in this situation because someone wants her dead and she didn't see it coming.
He raised her to be on top and tough, among his children she's the only one who understands him, the one he thought would inherit his throne, but she just turned it down because of a man.
A man who doesn't know his daughter's worth.
A man who's weak than his weakest men.
A man who didn't have dignity and let his mistress lives with his wife and son.
A man who she fought and protect with her own life just to betray her.
A man that melted his daughter's heart that he raised to be cold as ice.
The man who's the main reason why she's here fighting for her life and no one knew that she's alive, not even her beloved son whom she didn't see growing up.
The old man didn't know that he was crying not until his tears fell down on his hands, He may be tough outside but little did they know he was soft as an ice cream inside when it comes to his family, He promised his wife to protect their children but, he failed her, he failed her and their only daughter and their son's distance themselves from since their sister died.
I still remember that day when I almost lost my daughter.

Senior Argus was in a deep sleep that night when he was disturbed by a loud noise. Half awoke he unconsciously grab the phone which is on his bedside since he is working all the time and he needs to be alert every time his phone rings.
"Hello?". He asked in a still sleepy voice.
"Papa,---". After he heard those words from the caller all the sleepiness felt suddenly goes away.
"Hello, Aconite?, Hello?, I can't hear you clearly". He told his daughter over the phone but he only heard some gunshots and his daughter still not answering him. "What the hell is going on Aconite". He shouted at her on the phone but still no response from her, he was about to speak when the call ended.
He tried to call her again but then again her phone is just ringing he shouted and dialed his men to locate his daughter's location but before he could do it he receives a text message from her.
"851216". Aconite's message for him which he knows what it means, she was asking for help, and damn it, what is happening with his daughter?.
He gets his things and called one of his trusted men to prepare themselves because they are going out to find his daughter.
They are trying to locate her and as soon as they locate them he orders his men to drive fast and send some chopper for backup.
Not a long hour they've already seen three or four cars chasing his daughter's car and they didn't hesitate to shoot it with guns and now they've already had two more cars.
Argus thought after they finished shooting those cars his daughter will be saved when one car from out of nowhere came right in front of his daughter and when the vehicle intentionally crushed his daughter's car and it fell into the cliff.
Argus that time hold his breath when he saw his daughter's car falling from the cliff and there's no time to save her his men are
still chasing for the culprit and argus rushed down to the cliff where his daughters fall.
His thought was interrupted when one of the doctors came in to check his Aconite's vital signs.
"Mr. Xander, I want to tell you some good and bad news about your daughter's condition". The doctor said which made Argus stiffened and nervous about the news.
"You can tell it now, Doctor". Argus said calmly yet you can see in his eyes that he is also nervous.
"What do you want me to tell you first?". The doctor asked Argus.
"The Good one first if you may". Argus answered as he looked at the doctor's eyes.
"Well, the good news is that Ms. Aconite is improving now". The doctor finally said which made Argus happy but he remembers that there is still bad news.
"What about the bad one?". Argus asked nervously and he held his breath while waiting for the doctor to speak.
"The bad news is, It's now up to Ms. Aconite whether she wants to wake up or not". The doctor said which made Argus feel sad.
"Thank you for informing me doctor, I know my daughter will wake since her children needs her". Argus said to the doctor as he looked at his daughter's pale skin.
The doctor just excuse himself politely to leave the room.
Argus was still looking at Aconite's face and he remembered his sons, they already loathe him since he involved Aconite in his world and when Aconite they never ever step on his house anymore and he knows when they knew about him hiding Aconite and made them believed he knows they will loathe him more.
His only consolation is that his grandsons are close to him and of course his precious granddaughter who looks exactly just like her mother, but I kept her away, away from Chaos just like her brother's name, her brother who doesn't even know she exists and so as her, I keep it from her to protect her so she won't experience what her brother experience from their father, I give her a family that she needs, I don't want her to grow up in a messy world that her brother and I's life, call me selfish for just not doing this with
Chaos since that kid knows who's and who not to trust since he was little, and he knows he will hate him too for hiding the truth but for now,
I will protect my little light from everyone.
I will protect her since I failed to protect her mother and brother from everything.
I will protect, Aether Elpis Xander from everyone.

Aconite or Nite was the person who was with him when he lose everything because of the accident.

But he didn't cherish them all and he regret it that big, since his wife died his son loathes him to death, and their relationship got worsen, his son might be a little aloof to him way back then but now, he won't even look at him.
His father-in-law was closer to his son than him, and he knew that his father-in-law loathes him too for the death of his wife who's his only daughter.
But is it wrong if he was just following his heart? He was madly in love with Antonia at that time and was obsessed with her that he didn't notice the difference between love and the idea of being in love with someone else from his past.
He just realized his real feelings when Nite died.
He loved Nite sure that is true and she was his savior.
and he loved her that it's too late for him before he noticed it and Damn, it!, His Nite died thinking that he's still in love with Antonia.
Yes, He's still loved Antonia but not the love he felt for her way back then, he just loved and respect her as the mother of his son Antonio.
His son whom he didn't know until Antonio showed up at their home.
He doubts if he is his son at first but when he takes a DNA and it came out 99% percent that they are matched he offered to support and buy them a house but Antonia told him that someone wants them dead, that's why he offered his home without asking for his wife's opinion.
He offered them that since Antonio is his son and he still has feelings for Antonia.
He is still in love with her even after those years that they were apart,
But, He has a wife and he didn't want to cheat on her.
Aconite is a loving and kind wife,
Antonia is in the house-made my wife and I's relationship worst.
We often argue about her being in the house and her being jealous of Antonia.
