Aurelia “Stay.” My heart thundered and my skin tingled at that command. Not only was I not expecting it, but the raw dominance of his tone was captivating and there was no way I could deny him. That and I didn’t want to. He could demand anything of me with that husky voice and I’d surrender willingly. I had no clear plan when I followed him into the Divinity Pool. He had been keeping his distance from me for the last two days and I should have respected that.
