Thomas’ POV
The guys were all discussing war tactics when they went to bed, but sleep evades me tonight. What am I saying? Sleep has been evading me for a while now. I walk into the square expecting it to be empty, only to find a single figure standing looking at the fountain. It has been dry since I arrived. I don’t think it has had water since forever.
Selena “There is no use in staring Thomas I know you are there.”
Thomas “Selena, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to bother you. I will leave you in peace.”
I turn to walk away when she appears in front of me.
Selena “You aren’t bothering me. Besides, I owe you an apology and probably an explanation.”
She folds her arms, rubbing them, looks down on the ground, and walks past me back to the fountain.
