Iris’s POV
I felt the soft morning breeze as the bright sunlight assaulted my tired eyes. I let out a groan before turning over and snuggling my face into the warm hard chest behind me. Then I heard a deep chuckle above me.
“My princess is still not a morning person?” Alejandro asked. I softly growled at him. “Not since she got a taste of what it was like to actually sleep in.” I grumbled back. I only got up in the mornings if I necessarily had to, otherwise, I was allowed to enjoy sleeping in a bit.
My mate chuckled again before hugging me tighter to his hard body. “Well I am sorry, baby girl, but we need to get up. We are suppose to have a ranked members meeting at breakfast today after seeing the other alphas that are leaving our territory off.”
I groaned again and turned back over
