The moment everyone went outside, I followed my mother and now pissed off father towards their room. Unsurprisingly, my mother was calm, while surprisingly my father was pissed. “I don’t care what any of them say, you’re not coming,” I heard my father say, through his bedroom door. My original goal was to go inside, but at the last minute, I decided to listen to their conversation from the other side of the door. Luckily, no one else was around.
“I have no choice, you know I can’t go against the council, and this is important,” my mother said in her soothing voice.
“I don’t give a rat's ass what the council says. I have no problem going against them when it comes to you,” my father said.
