I stood silently in the hall and watched as Neffi walked out her room. I wasn’t trying to stare but I couldn’t help it, the girl was beautiful. When she finally noticed me, I smiled then waved, but she quickly averted her eyes and pretended to listen to the maid beside her. I sighed, then waited until she was almost down the hall, before proceeding after her. Like usual I greeted the servants with a smile then headed towards the dinning hall.
The castle was huge, with large doors and the phoenix insignia embedded in every wall.
