In every pack there is a hierarchy. That's how things are since our world has been created by the gods. And if in the human world we are born equal, even if some of the humans think differently, in werewolves' world things are damned clear.
An omega is just a poor member of the pack, and is there work for the wellbeing of the pack. In an idealistic world the alpha and Luna of the pack will protect those poor pack members and offer them support. Just as Greg and Rebecca did.
But nowadays, things are far from being ideal so there are packs like Orion or Scorpions, where the omegas must fight to survive. And if those omegas also have a questionable character, things could get dramatic.
