I was all smiles as I walked inside the house after my date with Xavion. Somehow, all the awkwardness that I am experiencing when I am with him is slowly fading away. At first, I thought it was so awkward to spend so much time with someone—a boyfriend. I never had any experience so I don’t know if this is normal.
Slowly, I am getting more comfortable with him by my side. Xavion has always made me feel like I am in control of the pace of the relationship. He won’t do something to me without asking for permission. He looks at me when he tries to hold my hand. And when I smile, holding his hand back, he would lace his fingers with mine.
I am happy with him. I never thought it would be this overwhelming to be with someone, to be in a relationship. But I am glad that I am in this situation.
