Xavion was smiling from ear to ear the moment he was about to go home. I had never imagined the first meeting to end up like this but I am happy that the night ended up alright.
I walked Xavion to his car. It feels surreal that this is happening right now. Who would have thought that my father would like someone for me? Is it because he’s a member of the royal family? But he already told them that they are already estranged from that side of his life. Mom was even worried that I would be hurt because of it but to be honest, I don’t want to think about it.
“Are you okay?” I asked him when we finally reached his car. “Did everything work out well?” Even though I already know the answer, I want to hear it from him first.
