I was wrong when I said I can endure two days without Xavion. He’s only been gone for a few hours but I can already feel an immense need for him. I wish I could follow him but we have some exams coming.
I’m definitely envious of him because he has connections. Even with the exam week coming, he was allowed to go to London because of the influence of his fraternity.
I sighed.
“What’s with the long sigh?” Mom asked while she’s preparing the breakfast on the table.
Dad, who is busy reading a report on his iPad, looked up to check what’s wrong with me. “Did he hurt you?” he asked in a stern voice.
I frowned and sighed. Mom just chuckled before sitting on the side of Dad, across me. “He’s not here, Dad,” I replied nonchalantly. “He went to London because his father died.”
