I woke up and all I could see was blur. I remember driving with Aaron, and we were a few blocks from the apartment when another vehicle crashed into ours. Before everything went black, I heard Maya's voice and saw Aaron's face with blood while trying to ask if I was okay.
"She's awake!"
I closed my eyes hoping the blur would go away. I recognized my sister's voice, and when I opened my eyes, I saw her at the foot of the bed. A look of relief was visible in her face. When I glanced to my right, I saw my mother with tears in her eyes. The queen looked like she aged ten years more. Her eyes were red and puffy.
"Oh my, baby!" Mom's voice was trembling while she checked me out. She turned to my sister and said, "Tell Maya to get the doctor."
Maya? Maya is here? She met my family? Oh my God
