Chapter 15: The General's Promise
I dreamed of falling from a cliff. I thought I was going to die but then I got transported to a meadow where I am staring right into the river. I know this river. This is the river where the Takipsilim Bridge is located. This where Marcial took me during one of my saddest nights.
I know that what is staring right at me is my own reflection but then I could not recognize her as me. This is because she had fiercer eyes. It's as if all the warmth evaded from her eyes. I know that this person couldn't be me.
