Damien returned to his optimistic elder brother tone and asked, "You are not going to change your attitude towards me now that you know I am rich, right?" He teased, smiling at me mischeviously.
I shook my head and answered promptly, "I treat everyone except for my family equally." I simply stared at him without backing down. There was no change in my emotions as I replied to him.
Damien gave out a slight sigh and said, "That's good. I hate it when people act all chummy towards me just because I'm rich. The reason I left home was because I felt everything and everyone around me was fake. I can't act like myself even if I wanted to, always being under the control of my father."
