Chapter 32

Angela and Alex both looked up at Alice who was standing there still screaming and shouting but they did not understand what was happening. They knew that their pleasure was ruined and Alex groaned and Angela gasped and then they both detached from each other and looked at Alice.

“God get something to cover yourself up. You disgusting pathetic perverts…I am sick of the sight of you both,” said Alice and Angela immediately stood up naked in all her glory and strode in her direction and slapped her tightly.

Alice was so stunned that she could not even recover. She looked at the woman she had known to be her mother her entire life since childhood. Then Angela said,” You are standing in my home and you are still living on my money, so don’t you dare talk to me in that way.”

Alice was looking at Angela with her mouth open while Alex was dressing and pulling up his jeans and wore the t-shirt that had been dropped on the floor. Angela put on a robe and said,” If you want to stay under this roof, in my house then you will sit down and talk to use like adults. Like mature people do. It has been more than enough time and you need to start acting your age.”

“How dare you lecture me on maturity when you are the one going about f*****g your own son? You raised him since he was not even a year old!” shouted Alice and Angela scowled at her and this time Alex said,” You are too quick to judge, Sis. We are not related by blood. And we have done nothing wrong. She might be my adoptive mother but I love her more than anyone else.”

“You are thinking with your d**k and not your brains,” spat Alice at her brother.

“I might not be your mother or any relation to you. But he is your brother Alice. Remember that,” said Angela with a tone of warning but Alex said,” It is fine. She is entitled to her opinion. She can think whatever she wants and wishes. That doesn’t change the way I feel about you Mum.”

“Are you even thinking what you are saying, Alex? You are calling her Mum and then you want to f**k her brains out? How do you think that this is normal?” asked Alice. Her voice was a lot calmer now and this time Alex said with a smile,” You were in an abusive relationship and someone came in the middle of the night and comforted you when he was a stranger. And then you ran away instead of facing your abusive boyfriend. Did I judge you? I should have…you are an educated woman and you could have easily destroyed this boy’s career if you had taken the right steps. But you did not. You are too scared.”

“How dare you make this about me?” asked Alice. She was fuming that her brother was trying to turn this on her.

“I am daring to make this about you because you are the one who came home guns blazing and started judging me and Mom. Why would you do that? Can you not take us to be two people in love?” asked Alex and Alice sniggered at him.

“Oh puh-lease…don’t tell me that you both love each other. It is not possible that you have thought of her this way your entire life. She is our Mom for God’s sake,” said Alice and this time she could feel her anger ebbing away and hurt and resentment taking place.

“That is the reason I know that I love her, Sis. I don’t want anything from her and neither does she want anything from me except love and support. We are two people who want each other for each other, for the person and not because you think I am doing this just because I want to f**k her brains out. I am doing this because she is the woman I love. The one I want to be with. She has taken care of me her entire life. She has taken our responsibilities even though she knew that we were not her own. She sacrificed everything for us. And yet, when I come to see her at the end of the day I see the most beautiful woman standing before me who is sexy as hell and who wants just happiness and satisfaction in life. I know that this is sudden and it might be difficult for you to accept this but I am not going to abandon her just because you think that this is not right,” said Alex and then he stopped and looked at Angela.

She could not believe that Alex would be standing up for her sake in this way and she would be protected by the baby whom she had brought home all those years ago.

“How could you do this, Mom? How could you? He is young, I know that he thinks he is in love with you but you are the older and mature one….you are letting him do this…are you so desperate to get laid?” asked Alice as she looked at Angela with more venom and Angela sighed at her.

“I think your anger is justified but still you need to remember that there is a limit that you need to have while talking with me. Alex never crossed that limit. He fulfilled my wildest fantasies. He got more friends to f**k me with him. Look at me…I know that I am old…really I am in my forties…but I have never felt more beautiful or younger in my life. If this was just hormones and f*****g then it would have been just a night or a week. But it has been going on for a year now Alice. And you have to believe me when I say that I love him as well. More than I ever loved any man. That might be possible because I have loved him since he was a baby. Maybe because I am his mother and I know everything about him, that might be another reason that I am so much crazy about him,” said Angela.

“You can’t say these things about your son, you know that right? This is a criminal offence in most of the states. What are you both thinking?” asked Alice when Angela sat down opposite to her.

“We are thinking that it might be time that I finally come to know my roots and where I came from. It means that there are chances that we can start everything in a new way,” said Angela and Alex looked at her with surprise.

“What are you saying Mom? What did you find out? Did you read all the reports and find out all that you wanted to find out today?” asked Alex and she nodded.

“What is it that you guys are talking about?” asked Alice.

“There have been some interesting developments in the past few days….and now it seems that Mom is the sole heiress of a huge ranch in Texas. Apparently it is one of the oldest. Mom was given up by the family when her parents died in the fire and even though she had her family she was given up for adoption. Then her name was changed and she was shifted to another state by her adoptive parents and she lost contact. Now the matriarch of the family something Eleanor has come back looking for her so that she can take care of this,” said Alex.

Alice was again looking at the both of them like they were speaking Hebrew. And then she said,” Are you both crazy or you are kidding me so that I lose my mind?”

“He is not kidding you at all. Actually this has happened and this was the reason that we were both so pent up. My grand aunt thought that Alex is my boy toy and not my son and we are going to keep up that pretense. I am going to revert back to my maiden name and you both will have the names of your father. I know that Alice, you have been through a lot. Alex told me about your relationship and I want you as well to come with us. It will be a change of scene and it is going to be good for you as well to meet some more people. You have stayed away from us for a long time,” said Angela with a motherly smile.

“I am feeling sick,” said Alice as she put her palms on her head and then lowered her head down.

Alex and Angela both stared at each other and then Angela said,” You can think that you live with two people who are in love with each other desperately. There is no need to be judgemental about us, Alice. Everyone needs some kind of love in their life. And we are your family. Whatever we might do, the fact that we both love you is not going to be changed.”

“What do you mean?” asked Alice and this time when she lifted her face they both saw that she was sniffling and her nose was all red. The black and blue hue around her eyes was taking a foul colour and Angela stood up and went close to her and said,” I might love him Alice. But I am still your Mom and I shall always be your Mom. And I am going to make sure that who is responsible for causing my child pain will pay for it.”

“He will kill you. He is a brute,” said Alice.

And Alex smiled and said,” Well then we might have to show him that strength when earned in muscles should be used for protecting and caring and not beating up and harassing women. Specially not the one that you claim to love.”

“I am still not fine with you both being together,” said Alice as she glared at her brother.

“Alice, we know. It is fine. But we are a family first and whenever something happens we will always deal with it like a family. If you can’t accept it then you will say so. But I know that you won’t do anything rash without first giving us a chance,” said Angela as she did not wait for Alice and hugged her tight.

Alice looked at Alex and mouthed,” I am going to talk to you.”

Alex nodded and Alice said,” It is so bad going out like this. I felt so self conscious that I came back.”

“You could have asked me once. I would have done your make up,” said Angela as she kissed the top of her head.

“I would have. But you were not home. You went out for this shopping I guess,” said Alice as she showed the bags.

“I brought you new lingerie as well darling. If you have calmed down enough then maybe you can try some of them on,” said Angela as she raised her brows and Alice gave her a tight lipped smile.
