Ariel blinked a few times, her feet frozen to the ground. Was she seeing things now because of how good the s*x had been?
He looked just as dashing. In his suit, his hands leaned against his oak desk, his jet black hair in a small bun above his head, and the moment she saw that plump pink lips shift into a smirk, she realized this was definitely not her imagination.
He leaned back into his seat, spinning a pen between his fingers, "are you just going to keep standing there?" He raised one eyebrow at her.
What the f**k was happening? She knew that the men who visited the club were well to do men, but they were usually men that had made their money illegally, or were hiding behind the mask of their dirty deeds, no one truly important ever came to El Miguel. It was a world concealed from the rest. And that was made it great. The huge tips from these men, who would most likely never show their faces again since they had so much at stake.
The shady deals, the shady business so why on earth would a client like Triston Lakes have been there?
She immediately slipped her smile back on, taking bold steps toward him and then pulled the seat across from him before taking it.
She placed the files in front of her on the desk separating them, "Mr Lakes, I'm extending greetings from my boss, we are more than honoured that you offered to listen to our proposal," she flipped the file open, "so..."
Ariel trailed off as he suddenly leaned forward, "interesting, is this what we're doing? Hm? Ms. Sunday?" The way he emphasized her last name like it was a melody made her tweak a little.
"Excuse me?" She raised an eyebrow at him, sitting up straight.
"Haven't we met before?" He raised a brow at her, an amused smile playing on his lips.
"I don't think so, this is the first meeting my company's arranged, you must be mistaking me for someone else." She continued to pull out the documents, "the first idea is to combine-" she trailed off because this time he'd gotten to his feet and had come to where she was seated.
Her eyes followed his movement and she let out a gasp when he pulled her by wrist, forcing her to her feet.
"What do you think you're doing?" She raised her voice at him, as he yanked her forward until he had her back pressed to a wall. She winced as soon as she came in contact with the surface.
With both his hands on either sides of her head, he lowered his face to match her height, "have you really never met me before?"
She was flustered but one thing about Ariel, she knew best to never let both worlds collide and so she was the best at her poker face, looking unfazed, "is this how you treat your clients? So unprofessional of you. I have never met you, and this is the first impression I have of you."
She tried to push past him but his hands found her wrists and he guided them upward, pinning her hands above her head, securing her in place, "this is interesting, you look like a completely different person, the blonde hair is gone? The devil red lipstick, the aura is different, hm, lady bliss?"
The sound of her stage name almost made her lose her mind. Never had she heard anyone call her that name outside of the club.
"I'm going to sue you for s****l harrassment if you don't let go right now," she raised her voice now.
"You really can't remember?" There was amusement in his voice.
"I said I don't know what the hell you're talking about!" This had been a mistake, the one time she went against her work ethic, this was the repercussions she had to deal with.
"Then give me a chance to refresh your memory then, shall I?" He said, tilting her chin upwards, leaning in and closing his mouth over hers, taking her lips in his.
