Jaxon's POV
We sat in silence. Knocking on the door brought us from our deep thoughts.
"Alpha! Veronica asked for your presence" Tyler said.
"And why?" I asked him and his response was shrug.
I looked at Mia and she nodded, gesturing me to go. I kissed her forehead and then kissed her bump before leaving to the cellars. Why did Veronica even call me now? Did she finally realise it's time to spill the truth?
The walk to the cellars is filled with silence. Neither Tyler spoke nor me. He is too occupied with mate and pup happiness while I was dealing with something else that I don't want to talk about.
