"Are you sure baby?" I asked, still processing what she just said.
"I am sure!Don’t use mindlink with my dad’" She paused, biting her lip thinking something.
She took the phone from my pocket and called someone. I never knew she had someone's phone number at the back of her brain. After four rings we heard Michael's voice.
"Dad!" Mia talked as if everything was cool.
And out of the blue she turned the speaker off and spoke to him in private. I just heard their muffled voices.
