Mia's POV
My whole body is burning! It feels like lava is settling on every inch of my skin. I rake my fingers on my arms only to get burnt more. It's unbearable. I saw Jaxon fighting with his wolf. I ran to him and hugged him from behind. The place where our bodies touched instantly cooled but not enough.
Jaxon turned around and I saw baby blues staring back at me. I know it's Jaxon. He held my head and rubbed my cheeks with the pad of his thumbs collecting my tears I didn't know were flowing.
"Make it go away!" I whimpered.
"Please" I said when another wave of heat hit me, making me crumble.
