Making his way back home, Leo had to stop himself from breaking into a run, the smile playing around his lips at the thought of his mate, he had missed her so much it had hurt.
Reaching his door, he stopped for a moment, suddenly apprehensive, when he had left she had been broken, her heart had been shattered and he had been at a loss as to how to help her. Her words came crashing back to his mind, ‘you need to reject me, find someone who can give you everything’ she had shouted before rushing into their bedroom and slamming the door shut, locking it so he couldn’t get in.
