It has been a couple of days since the New Year's eve debacle , I have spoken with Lucy on the phone and apparently , she has already managed to convince her mother not to withdraw from the deal they made with my father , but she still does not want to see me near Lucy unless it is for something "official" , so , I will have to accept the fact that her mother hates me now , and I need to regain her trust again.
Today Lucy must go to work at the country club , and I could not convince her in any way not to go , she , being such a responsible person , is not going to leave her job abandoned and disappoint her supervisor , who already trusts her a lot.
