The sun is shining through the windows and I can feel my head throbbing , my mouth is so dry that I could easily drink a gallon of water in a matter of seconds , I open my eyes and find a cup of water and two pain killers on my nightstand , I immediately take them and drink the whole glass of water with a single gulp , whoever left those in here must have known that I would desperately need them , and I will be forever grateful with that person.
I check my phone and search through the heap of notifications to see if there is at least one from Lucy , but nothing , she hasn’t returned any of my calls or answered a single text message from the dozens of them I left her last night after she ran away from me.
