Those are the news I wake up to early in the morning at first, I feel sorry for Vincent because he was the best father in law I've ever had but when I remember about what my dad told me which I'm not sure if I was dreaming or hallucinating but he had a point, I lack the courage to continue pitying them so i end up calling Ken to confirm if he actually killed Vincent.

"Hey babe you know what the time is over here?" He asks immediately he answers the call and I find myself chuckling lightly.

"Of course I do, it’s at night but you said anything for me so I can call any time I want unless you cheating on me over there?" I ask jokingly and he frowns then smiles before he talks. I decided to face time with him so I could see his face; God knows how much I have missed him.

"Why would you think about that? I told you I'll never cheat on you, I'm too old for games, in fact I wish we were done with this revenge thing so I could marry you already, I love you Lisa, don't you ever doubt that" he says and I blush. "Aawh, so you blushing now?" He asks and I laugh

"Really now, would you kindly stop being playful and be serious for once" I say seriously and he raises his eyebrows questioningly. "By the way did you kill him?" I ask abruptly and he just gazes at me without blinking. "Ken?" I call him for the second time

"Yes baby" he says like I asked him nothing

"I asked you something"

"What do you think? Do you think I can kill someone?"

"Well I don't know you that much but what I know is that anyone is capable of anything, so did you?"

"Seriously Ken, I asked you something, I am not joking about this" I say starting to sound bored

"So I'm I baby, well there's so much you need to know about me and yet to know"

"Hmm enlighten me then"

"No one messes with my family or any other close person to me and goes unpunished, so I don't feel sorry"

"So in other words you just killed him"

"Yeah I did and I feel so proud of myself"

"You could have let me interrogate him at least I know why he agreed to let me marry his son when he knew so well I was his enemy or rather my dad was his enemy"

"He confessed by the way, I got to show you something" he says and I sit upright very curious, he stands and goes to his desk just beside his bed, he retrieves his laptop from the drawer and switches it on, he goes ahead to type the password and I'm just following keenly. He goes to the videos and clicks one of the videos, it's kind of hard for me to watch because of the torture Vincent is going through but I have to get the message he's saying

"Don't worry about what's going on just follow the conversation, that's what I want you to do" he says and I nod

"Your daughter in law is alive and kicking but she's mine and don't worry you won't tell anyone, because you coming out of here as a corpse" Ken says

"I thought Amanda killed that b***h, I knew she was the clumsy type" Vincent replies back and I'm surprised he planned to kill me with Amanda, why are the people I trusted so much turning into betrayers and deceivers?

"You tried to kill your daughter in law?" Ken asks looking surprised and I can't hide my surprise too, I mean who knew the innocent father in law was all along planning to kill me, why did he allow me to marry Adrian if he wanted me dead, he could have just killed me from the word go, and why would Tina try to save me and pay Amanda to go out of the country? Did Vincent know the two were dating? Things are just turning out to be complicated and messy and I don't know who to trust anymore, everything sucks but I still have a long way to go, the way to my revenge

"Yes just like I killed her father, I would gladly do the same" he says boasting and I can't failed to note the pride in his voice

"Why Amanda? Why not your son?" Ken continues to asks him

"Because she's my daughter" he blurts out and I can't help it, I gasp out loudly. Amanda, being Vincent's daughter? Who on earth can believe that? Don't blame me if I don't.

Wait, my dad just told me Amanda was adopted. Does it mean Vincent impregnated her mother and abandoned her, does Amanda even know Vincent was her dad? Or is she just trying to play with our minds like she always does?

"What!" Ken gasps

"Yeah thought you knew that?" Vincent asks

"Not until now but that doesn't deter me anyway, you were my father in law but glad I didn't marry that b***h, she was one hell of a woman to settle with, just promiscuous like dad like daughter" Ken says and he spits on him which earns him another bullet on his abdomen. And that's the end of the clip.

"Damn! So Amanda is Adrian's sister?" I ask Ken and he just nods as he switches his laptop off and turns back to talk to me.

"Yeah so apparently yeah I was surprised just like you but I couldn't let him live another day, that 9kd fucker killed my dad, he's the one that asked someone to tamper with my dad's car, and not only that, he took my dad's company and made it his, lucky enough I managed to get it back, that's a family's company not something you can just choose to mess up with, he messed up with the wrong person" Ken says and I just nod

"Don't you think you overreacted?" I ask out of nowhere

"Overreacted how? You could have don't the same if it was you, just imagine that man tried to kill you, he killed your father and although he's your father in law but still doesn't give him a chance to live, he knew what he was digging himself into" Ken says and I can't agree less

"You right but I wish I met him so he would tell me why he let me marry his son when he knew so well about my dad and he killed my dad, just makes me wonder if he was a sane man"

"I think maybe he wanted to bring you closer so that you'd be an easy target, what i know is that his wife, Tina used to rule him, she'd make decisions in that house, and Tina genuinely loved you that's why maybe Vincent used Amanda to kill you, he couldn't do it himself beaches he knew his wife would find out"

"Huh just amazing how you can be living with your enemies in the same roof, it scares the hell out of me" I say genuinely

"No one is to be trusted my dear, don't trust anyone even your own brother" he says and I just nod.

Later after I've wished him a good night, and he promises to come check on me soon, I decide to take my breakfast and just then my phone rings, it's a private number, I rarely receive private numbers but something just tells me to pick this one. Who knows maybe it might be someone who really needs my help but why use a Private number?
