"Hello princess?" I hear someone's voice, there was only one person who used to call me that and that's my dad
"Dad what are you doing here,are you for real?"
"Yes baby I'm here with you can't you see?"
"No you lying where have you been all this while?" I ask doubtfully
"I've been with you,I've been watching over you,and I've been making sure no one hurts you"
"No you're a liar,you were never in my life,you left us,and mom left us too but why dad?"
"It was the best thing I could do honey,i needed to do that for your safety"
"Safety? What safety when people have been on my neck for no reason,trying to kill me,where were you?"
"Watching over you" he says and i sneer
"Ooh cut the crap dad,you never even loved us,if you did you wouldn't be here trying to manipulate me into believing this bullshit!" I half scream at him
"I'm not trying to manipulate you princess,you have to listen to me okay?" He half begs and i just give him a blank stare
"And why would I listen to you in the first place?"
"I'm begging you there's something you need to know before it's too late"
"And what is it?"
"But you have to promise me one thing though?"
"Which is?" I ask sounding bored
"You don't get mad"
"Well that depends with what you want to tell me"
"Okay I'm just hoping you won't be mad at me but you need to act quickly"
"Okay just say it already"
"Those people that you call friends are not what you're thinking they are" he say and i cease my brows at him
"And what does that supposed to mean?"
"That you should be extra cautious about everyone that comes into your life,don't trust anyone not even your own mother" he says and i raise my glance at him questioningly
"Can you just go straight to the point dad! What the f**k is wrong with you beating around the bush every damn time?!" I shout at him and realising that I've not done any good i apologize. "I'm sorry dad it's just there's a lot going on in my life right now" i say apologetically
"I understand baby, anyone else could be feeling the same way you feeling"
"But that doesn't guarantee me the right to shout at you I'm sorry Papa"
"I understand princess"
"Okay so who are those people i should avoid"
"Your husband, he's not what you think he is"
"And what does that supposed to mean dad?"
"His father, he's the one that organised for my death, he is the leader of the gang and Lydia's dad too, they always claimed that i took their money, it's not true we had a deal and when they realised that I was making it more than them, they planned to kill and lucky enough, i had learnt about their ways before and i asked your mother to assist i gave her the keys to the safe and asked her to vanish after my death, it was my deal, don't ever get mad with her" my dad says and i take a minute to grasp whatever he's trying to tell me
"You mean Adrian's dad was part of the deal?"
"Yes honey and you should be extra careful with that duo"
"And what about Amanda's dad do you know her?"
"No who is Amanda?"
"David's daughter"
"David never had a daughter as far as I can remember"
"What do you mean, i thought Amanda was his daughter"
"Nope David was impotent, he never had a wife maybe that b***h, she was always on his toes and wanted him to marry her because he was rich"
"So who is Amanda's dad then, because as far as I'm concerned she has been on my neck apparently to revenge on behalf of his dad"
"He just poisoned her mind, Amanda was adopted by the couple when she was still a baby, that's what I can remember"
"Ooh this is new to me"
"You cant know that since you saw her once she was all grown she was adopted"
"Does she even know that?"
"Nope, she doesn't she was still a kid remember"
"Ooh yeah you right, so dad what do you suggest I do then?"
"If you don't hunt those enemies down they'll kill you and your family, you wouldn't want that happening do you?"
"Of course not dad"
"Good then I'm glad you know what to do"
"So you suggest i kill them?"
"Yes what else was on your mind?"
"I don't know dad killing sounds like a bad idea"
"Ooh honey don't act like you haven't killed before,where is Lydia didn't you kill her? Now i want you to keep revenging on my behalf, i wanted a bright and courageous kid out of my lineage and glad i have you"
"Dad i can't kill anyone else" i say
"You can, i want you to listen to me okay?imagine those people killed your dad, they have been on your neck for all of your life, they have tried looking not once but several times, you escaped death several times and don't forget you are where you are because of them, who knows if they are after your kids?"
"Dad i don't believe you, how can my own husband kill my kids? Does he even know that they are enemies with my family and why did he marry me in the first place"
"Ooh honey don't be stupid, i thought your grandma raised you well enough, Adrian never knew about all these, he was clueless and when he introduced you to his family his dad disapproved your relationship with him but he was determined to marry you, he loved you and gauging from the way you two loved each other the family had no otherwise than accepting fate although they never told him the reason why they didn't want you two to end up together"
"Jeez this is just too much to absorb"
"I want you to think about it before it's too late, remember always not to trust anyone, everyone is your enemy"
"Okay dad will think about it, what about you? Ain't you going to help me?"
"No honey I'll be watching over you, I'll protect you whenever I can but i want you to know that what you doing us the right thing to do, don't talk back and let your brother help you he's a genius fellow unlike your elder brother, he can't even connect the dots"
"Okay dad, i get you, when will I be able to see you again?"
"No honey I'm gone, my spirit will be here to guide you all through so you don't have to worry about anything, I'll offer my help whenever I can, goodbye princess" he says and vanishes, I'm left all alone feeling void and empty
"Dad! Dad! Please come back i still wanna talk to you" i please with him but he's gone, i keep on sobbing silently until i feel someone patting me on my back
"Lisa! Are you okay, whom are you talking to?"
"I'm fine what happened?" I ask astonished to find the duo looking at me with concerned looks
"Dad!"
"Dad?" What do you mean by dad?" He asks
"He was here he talked to me, it sounded so real"
"I think you need to get something to cool your nerves you shaking out of fear, here let me help you to your room" Roy says and offers me his hands Fri support and i just agree to his suggestion. I have no strength to keep on fighting with him, I'm just exhausted.
I talked to him just a few minutes ago, was i hallucinating or maybe was i dreaming? But it sounded so real, we had a conversation with him, maybe he was trying to pass some information to me, i must talk to Roy about this, we need to act quick before things get out of hand or unless i want our enemies to win against us the umpteenth time, with the wicked witch gone I'm determined to finish off whoever comes my way.
