Lisa's POV
When Ken told me that story yesterday i couldn't believe my ears, at some point i thought maybe i was in a deep sleep, maybe dreaming but i has to pinch myself to make sure I was my dreaming.
Ken left later but I'd didn't have anything to tell him, i just mumbled a sorry and he said he understood, no one knew what happened not even Roy that's why most of the people judged him and never bothered yo ask the reasons behind his decisions. I felt bad myself because I had also judged him without even approaching him, i got mad for the wrong reasons but we human beings at least that's what's keeping me going.
I wake up feeling exhausted and tired,i don't feel like doing anything today so I guess I'll just spend my day in bed. It's Sunday and i have nowhere else to go.
I pick my phone and call Angela, my new house help.
I conducted the interview myself and i just fell in love with Angela on the first sight, she was this humble and kind of a person so i immediately hired her and i can't fail to note the way Roy is always looking at her maybe the two are clicking but he has a fiancee, he should just stick to Regina
"Hey Angela morning?"
"Morning too ma'am" she says and i sigh deeply
"Angela just call me Lisa every body does that"
"Okay,.what can I bring you?"
"Bring me white coffee and some eggs, i won't be coming downstairs today and ooh, you should ask my driver to take you out for shopping, check us we have everything in the house, i need to to go buy more today okay?"
"Okay Ms Lisa, I'll be there in a few minutes, will you mind some pancakes i had made some" she asks and i can't then down the offer given that she has already made them.
"No of course not, not much though" i say and hang up.
There's a soft knock on my door and stand up to go open it. Angela is carrying a tray containing my breakfast, i smile at her and motion her in
I have been a fan of watching movies and series ever since I was in highschool and right now what i want to do is immerse myself into watching, I'm a fan of rom com drama series, action, thrillers and epic. And right now I want to watch a drama series. I think the Oval will do better. So after taking my breakfast, i go to my adjacent washroom and freshen up,i put on my comfy sweatpants and connect my laptop.
I'm the middle of watching when i hear someone opening the door,i turn back and i see Ken leaning on the door.
"Hey?" He says
"Hey,mind joining me?" I ask hoping he won't turn down my offer
"Are you sure?" He asks and i nod
"Of course i am"
"What you doing?"
"Watching a certain series called, The Oval, ever watched it?"
"Nope not yet"
"Then be my guest"
"You're ahead why don't we watch something else"
"Something like?"
"Have you watched kissing booth? First time? heard they're lit" he suggests and i have no problem with it
So we end up watching the two movies. It makes me feel like a teenager watching movies and eating popcorns, it's just a rare case in my years.

"So are you two together?" Roy asks and i just smile. He's becoming an ass and j know why, he had talked about me leaving Ken but when he saw us today earlier,he just frowned.
We're currently in the dining table about to have dinner, Ken went to his room, he said he wanted to freshen up
"Hmm you still insisting why though?" I ask as i serve myself some chicken soup and salad
"Because I'm just looking out for you, I'm your caring brother" he says and i chuckle
"Okay whatever Ken can answer you that" i say as i make myself comfortable and Ken walks in he smiles when he sees me and I smile back.
"Hmm what are you guys talking about, or are you guys talking about me?" He asks as he takes a seat beside me
"Nope we weren't talking about you, maybe you should ask Roy about it"
"Roy what's up man?"
"Nothing, was just trying to talk to my sister here"
"About what exactly?"
"He was asking if we now seeing each other" I decide to chip in trying to save the situation
"Well i now know where you got all that information from, Roy i can see you've fed your sister with lies"
"What lies?"
"Ooh don't play innocent here Roy, you know what you did but you my brother i have no grudge against you" Ken says and just smiles as he helped himself with serving his breakfast
"Okay at one point I'm lost, did Lisa tell you anything about me that i don't know?"
"No Lisa told me nothing i just guessed you the one who fed her with the lies, you could've asked me bro that's what brothers do"
"I don't know what you're talking about Ken, just go straight to the point" he insists and i find myself chuckling lightly at how naughty Roy can be sometimes
"Well you told Lisa I'm a hit and run guy, she didn't tell me but i figured out you the one that told her, the previous day we are okay and i doubt anyone here knows me better than you do so i guessed you did that, just don't do it to anyone else"
"Hmm... I don't know, I'm sorry"
"Well you should be, why are you against me and Lisa being a thing? I love your sister Roy and that's from the bottom of my heart, she's been through a lot, and anyone in his right mind will be dare break her heart, i only have pure intentions" Ken says and that warms my heart, he has stood up for me and i just feel like a f*****g queen right now.
"Well... I'm sorry Ken, maybe i judged you from the wrong side, i don't know, just forgive me"
"I don't have any problem with you Roy, you my guy and thanks for doing that anyway you have me the chance and courage to open up at least she knows the reasons behind everything i personally never had the courage to open up to someone, so don't worry about it, i forgave you long time ago" Ken says and Roy nods in agreement
"Well i guess we okay now ain't we?" I ask and they both nod, "we need to have a toast for that by the way" i suggest
"So what should we do?" Roy asks and i smile
"There's a certain club in town,been long since k was in a club what do you suggest,bills on me"
"It's Monday but since i have nothing to do why not?" Roy says and winks at me
"Well i guess we both agreeing to that,what about you Ken?"
"I don't drink"
"Hmm since when exactly?" Roy asks and Jen just smiles
"I quit drinking long time ago,I'm a clean man nowadays but I'll take you guys to wherever you wanna go,I'll be your driver back home" he says and i remember we needed someone to stay sober. Just then his phone rings and he excuses himself.
He come later with a frown on his face and from the look of things,some thing is wrong somewhere
"Is everything okay? Why are you frowning?" I ask trying to read his mind
"Well just got some bad news,i need to go back home"
"Wait what?" I ask i follow him on the staircase to his room.
