"Ken a lot has been going on for the past two days, i just can't seem to find the right words to explain all that happened" i say to Ken who i just called to ask about what i had asked him to do.
"I understand Lisa, what exactly happened?"
"A lot, Roy is here by the way,did you show him my place and you never even told me about it?"
"I'm sorry about that Lisa but Roy threatened me, i had no choice"
"Roy threatened you? How can Roy threaten you, the Roy i know is not the wild type maybe you just gave in"
"Seriously Lisa let me just acknowledge to you, Roy was super mad and i understand how family means everything to each and everyone of you despite i knew you won't get mad at me because Roy had been the closest person to you"
"How would you even know that?"
"I know a lot about you Lisa"
"Mh i see so how much do you know about me?"
"A lot to make you my client, i know your favorite food I know you wouldn't believe it but that's a story for another day"
"Okay you me an explanation"
"Not really Lisa but tell me what happened"
"Can you imagine Lydia was here?"
"Lydia! What the f**k was she doing there?"
"I thought you knew, you work for me remember?" I ask him obliviously
"I'm sorry by the way that slipped out of my mind I never thought Lydia was the type, she was your best friend remember? How could that raise my suspicions?"
"That's my question for you, you should just check on everyone by the way I feel like everyone is suspicious because I can't f*****g trust anyone"
"That's right they say your friend is always your biggest enemy"
"Yeah you right, actually she managed to get in despite all the security system that was installed here"
"Did she access your room? Because that's the central place to the security system"
"Nope i guess she wasn't able to, everything was as i left"
"But i don't think she can access it unless she used one of the worker's key cards, remember they always have one in case of anything"
"Ooh by the way, that didn't even cross my mind, she might have used Alice's or maybe Mariana's, and by the way Alice is dead, her burial will be next week on Tuesday, and my gate man too, she did a lot of damage"
"Jeez I never thought it was that serious, I'll take the next flight so that I'll be there and see what I can do, i can't miss her burial, she had been like a mother to me when I visited that place, she just didn't deserve to die such a cruel death"
"Yeah it pains me that i wasn't there to help her, i partially blame myself for her death, just both of them"
"You should thank God you weren't around, what if you were killed? Just thank God for saving you and don't beat yourself to it, let Alice rest in peace, I'm sure she won't be happy if she found out that you were blaming yourself for her death, she fought her battle and won the race" Ken says and in as much he's trying to make me feel better, there's some part in me that feels guilty for the death of the two.
"Yeah you right,i feel so damn lonely right now"
"Don't worry I'll be there before you know it,you just say the word 'it's alright' and I'll be there before you know it" he say and i find myself smiling despite the fact that I'm going through a hard time right now.
"Thanks Ken"
"No you don't have to Lisa, that's the best I can do, so did you find her?"
"Who?"
"Lydia of course"
"Yeah"
"Where's she?"
"I killed her"
"You did what?" He asks astound in his voice, Ken knows me better, he knows I'm not the wild type, i can't kill anyone
"Yes i killed her and i don't feel any slightest of regret whatsoever, she had crossed my limits"
"Who are you again?" Ken asks and i chuckle
"Haha don't go there, but I'm being grave to you right now"
"I know I don't blame you by the way she deserved that and if I were in your shoes i could have done the very same thing, such Snitch b***h deserves hell because that's where her type are"
"Haha did you just support me on this? You're being sagalicious and albeit it's rare i still welcome it" i say and laugh and he joins me
"But seriously Lisa that's true, you did the right thing, congratulations!" He says and i only laugh
"You don't just congratulate me for liking someone did you?"
"Of course I did and I'll do that so long as I know the other deserves it, one thing you'd hold know is that in this path, you going to kill slot of people and you already chose, revenge doesn't go along with compassion my dear, you ought to learn that and let it stick, and like they say revenge is best served when cold,so are you ready to walk with me in this path because I'm more than willing to give you a hand and offer any kind of help where needed" when he asks that i try to take in his question, I'm i really ready to kill someone? But what they did to me was worse than i can remember, i think I'm ready for revenge and i don't think I'm going back
"Yeah I'm ready for what it takes so long as justice is served, I'll ask for forgiveness later because even if I involved police it'll take a lot of time before I'm granted justice and I'm sure as hell I'm not the patient type so this is the only way out"i say and he agrees.
"Good I'm gonna be here for you, I'm gonna help whenever I can and that's a promise to you"
"Thanks Ken" i say genuinely
"No need to my dear, you could have done the same for me if I was in your shoe"
"I know but thanks still"
"Okay sure, anyway i had some news for you"
"Eheh" i encourage him to go on
"The lady Amanda that knocked you is not the real Amanda"
"And what do you mean by she's not Amanda?" I ask astounded
"I did some background check on her and trust me she doesn't even come from this country, she was in imposter"
"Jeez this clever b***h, i didn't even notice any difference between the two"
"No one could have noticed, she was sent here by whom i think is Amanda and you know something about that Lady?"
"What about her?"
"She just disappeared into thin air and no one can trace her, I've tried looking for whereabouts Andi think maybe she was killed, she was sent here by Someone to kill you and she failed to accomplish the mission so i guess the boss killed her"
"Clever b***h but I'll just get her, i know so" i say gritting my teeth
"Yeah I'll see you tonight then, let me make arrangements for my flight"
"Safe travels see you then" I say and hang up.
I'm left with a series of questions and thoughts after the call, what plan does this Amanda have, can she be planning another attack on me now that she knows her first plan failed? It's high time i be more careful to avoid any hitches before i accomplish my mission.
I pick my phone and head downstairs to meet my brother, he insisted he'll be there for me so it's time he gave me his ideas.
