Carl's POV
I came back home in the evening and it was silent. Wow.! A pack house with family and guests is this silent? That is seriously so wow!! It's either they all went out or had a rest because the drama has been so heavy lately.
I sat on the couch and sighed. What do I even do?
"Yo!" Aiden's voice came out and my smile followed.
I turned towards my left and saw Aiden walk to me with Leah tailing behind, her head down.
"You seem so exhausted" Aiden said as he took in my appearance.
Oh yes! The King's duties can be so draining but in the end, it's all worth it. All the duties are for someone who looks up to me as their King. Doing something for them doesn't make it harder.
"And yeah, we'll be leaving tonight. Back to pack. An Alpha is needed you know" Aiden smiled.
