"Your best friend who you treasured?" Grandpa asked her.
Layla closed her eyes in frustration as she sighed. She then looked at us with an apologetic look. Why is she sorry in the first place? It's just her friend visiting because Layla stopped attending human school. Of course her friends would be missing her.
"She is a human." Layla whispered as she hung her head.
"So was I when we were high schoolers" Lana spoke as she smiled looking at Layla.
