Carl's POV
Raul didn't utter a word ever since I decided that I'll be going to the bloodsucker covenant as well. To be honest, he is the one who created this covenant thingy.
"Will you be alright?" Mom asked me as she drove the car.
I just nodded.
"I have Raul with me. I'll be fine" I whispered back.
She smiled in response with her eyes still on the road. We didn't speak much as our brains were filled with thoughts of our own. It's my very first time visiting the bloodsucker land. I wonder how they're gonna receive me or Raul. Will they remember their creator?
"We're here" Mom said, breaking my thoughts.
I looked ahead and the guards were bowing to the vehicle already. So they recognise Mom's car as their Queen's. Impressive.
"I'll announce you as their King today" she whisp
