Darkness surrounded me with only a few flickering street lights lighting the way around me. I was downtown, but the city was quiet enough to hear my own heartbeat in my ears. I didn’t know what I was searching for, but my legs pushed me forwards anyway until I found myself turning down a dark alley as if some part of me was being called there. The rain poured down around me, my hair matting to my face as it soaked through. What’s going on? What am I doing here?
