Listening to Drake saying those words, I couldn't help but think about the family of those innocent young maidens who were killed by the witches who planned to use their appearance to get the information that they wanted.
I raised my head and looked up at Drake. After seeing me looking at him, his eyes unconsciously softened as his hand reached out to caress my head as he softly asked.
“What is it that you want to ask, my dear?”
