Sierra is the only daughter of Luviega and Mammon, the husband and wife of Casa Amarilla. She is cold-blooded, stoic, and doesn't give a damn in her surrounding, which is the exact opposite of the current her. She has also been homeschooled all her life and this house is her prison cell. She is not allowed to go outside unless she is permitted by her father, which has only happened about three times since birth, and her time is only limited to six hours.
Her mother Luviega is not as caring and loving as a mother should be, she only wants all the material things in the world. She spends money like a necessity to eat a meal three times a day. A perfect representation of a spoiled and materialistic woman, while her father, on the other hand, was a businessman as well as the acting Governor of this city. He's always out of town which always leaves the poor Sierra all alone in this huge mansion. What a loving household, insert the sarcasm there.
Sierra seriously took notes of all the pieces of information that she gathered for the whole three days of living in this unfamiliar world, and almost all of this information was gathered in the laptop that is probably owned by the previous owner of the body. It's very weird to be honest, how well detailed and arranged all the files that are needed to know, as if she knew this would happen, that someone will probably take over her body and needed this information.
The rest of the information gathered is from some random people that she asked nonchalantly to not gather any suspicion.
She pity the real owner of this body, she may have all the materials life could offer, but it's like she's living alone when in fact, his parents are still alive and kicking.
Sierra is still confused and doesn't know what is currently happening to her. She doesn't understand how did she end up in this body and this world, when in fact, she should've died in that hospital bed because of Leukemia. But if it will be her chance to enjoy life for the second time around, then she thought of happily accepting it without any questions.
After taking some notes and things to remember, she decided to go downstairs to grab some snacks.
As she got down, people who are doing chores stopped and line up in a perfect line on each side of the staircase, then bow down at the same time without any cue or whatsoever. It seems like they are doing this all their life that it already became a habit.
In those three days of staying in this place and living as Sierra, the young madame of Casa Amarillo. She just can't get used to this kind of treatment. She sighed and shakes her head disapprovingly.
This is too much for me
"Number one," Sierra said coldly.
One of the things that keep on bothering Sierra since day one is her tone of voice. Her way of speaking and expressions seems to be a tough job to change like it is something that she was born with, and cannot be changed.
As she thought of these, a middle-aged woman, wearing a long black skirt and a gothic style top suddenly step up from the line they formed. She is exuding high authority among all the people surrounding her, but she shows great respect and fear as she kneels in front of Sierra to received her orders, just like a knight receiving the decree of a king.
"Yes, madame?" the maid asked.
Her eyes still on the floor not even dared to lift her head.
In Casa Amarillo, maids are called by numbers and number one is somewhat the highest rank in the maid section. They are a total of two hundred and all are well knowledgable in martial arts. They each have a number in their uniform as to know which servants are near.
While the guards on the other hand are divided into Alpha (The Leaders). Beta (The Warriors), Gamma (The Protector), and Omega (The Security) group. And there are four main groups here: The North, East, West, and South Group, as the name implies each group has its area to protect.
"I want to eat." Her lazy voice attracted all who heard it but still didn't dare lift their heads. They still want their life
"This servant understands, then will you permit this servant to leave now and prepare for the necessary measures to do for your food?" The maid bows down once again.
Sierra just lifted her hand and moved it as if shooing a fly, that's the maid cue to leave the place.
Sierra gracefully walked down taking the remaining six steps from the stairs and continue walking straight to the living room. As she sat down, all the maids started to disperse and get back to their post.
"Turn on," she said, turning the voice automated television on, but even so, she has no intention of watching she just opened it to get rid of that irritating silence.
She then opened her phone and immediately type the words. How to smile?
she saw lots of results and because she's too lazy to choose from those options, she just picked the first link.
Her eyebrows instantly raised as she read the first instruction given.
Practice smiling regularly.
She then thinks for a moment before she opened her other phone and click the camera. She acted like she's taking a selfie-and keep on forcing her lips to smile.
She can smile but looks somewhat scary, her lips are curving into a smile but her eyes were still cold and unwavering.
She cannot do anything but sigh as she goes through her phone again to look at the next instruction.
Smile with your eyes, a genuine smile will naturally include your eyes. It is called a Duchenne smile, and it's not something that easily faked. When you practice smiling, work to include your eyes in the expression so you wind up with a warm, genuine smile
That's what it's said but the problem is that's what exactly why I can't do it, these cold eyes are giving me a hard time. She thought and still keeps on reading
Try remembering something good or things that make you happy and you will found yourself smiling genuinely
Sierra was too absorbed in reading; she did not realize that her food was being placed on the coffee table in front of her.
When she saw it, her eyes immediately lit up, and unconsciously smiled. When she was still in the hospital, the food there is tasteless and unappetizing. There is also a lot of food she cannot eat and so seeing this feast in front of her risen her mood. She thanks the maids who delivered her food to her and happily taken her fill.
She's not aware that what she did create a massive blow to all of the servants that have seen this rare phenomenon.
